Five Trailridge students earn Pathway to Biliteracy Award

The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District recognized five TRE students with their Pathway to Biliteracy Awards.
Pathway Awards recognize elementary and middle school students who have sought out second language acquisition opportunities in their communities or who have worked to maintain the native language spoken in the home.
The following students earned their Pathway Award at the end of the year:
* Indicates a student is receiving the award for a second time
**Indicates a student is receiving the award for a third time
- Italian: Enzo Rehak** (3rd grade)
- Spanish: Penelope Vaca (5th grade), Bobby Graham (3rd grade), Lucas Prather* (3rd grade)
- Turkish: Zeynep Metin (5th grade)
